Question about modifying ships.

Is it possible to make your own/mod a ship in the build mod? If so how would I.

Making yer own ship needs modelling skills and such. It takes quite a while. A long time. A really long time.
But you can modify yer ship(s) stats. Go to PROGRAM\Ships\Ships_init.c (open the file with Notepad)

Creating a new ship from scratch generally takes 12-18 months.

What exactly do you want to do? Change the stats for a ship? Change the colour? Or do a whole lot more?

Trudat! Bava was putting out very nice ships in 6 months or less! But I am referencing current progress, so 2 years is probably optimistic.

Thank you for your responses. I think I will just modify a existing ship because I have not got to far into modeling and things like that yet. Its what I will be going to college for so maybe when I learn more about it I will be able to do more.
