Your pardon, Lady Cat, but you are mistaken; surely it was a characteristically funny thing for you to say. (and don't call me Shirley!)

I feel certain that I have never read anything you have posted that I ever perceived as being mean or unkind, and for myself, personally, I only ever tease people that I consider to be my friends, and I'm well nigh convinced that you follow a similar policy in all your dealings.

The only criticism that I can offer is you should have said:
"You think we didn't already know that Lady Mings has a sense of humor??? She married you! buh - dum -bump......t'ching!

Then you wait for the laugh that must surely follow. (and stop calling me Shirley!)
