Return of the Legend Location Files

I haven't got a clue either. Last time CCC tried to raise a whole location (eg. Oxbay sewer), it messed up the location lighting. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" />

Well, that was some times ago... Some of our fantastic ship-builders know how to edit/save a gm model, don't they? Maybe one could try?

On a side note...

Seems like the russians enjoyed <a href="http://forum.piratesahoy.net//index.php?s=&showtopic=10381&view=findpost&p=190231" target="_blank">our tutorials</a>... Or we are having the same ideas...

LOL! Location Remodeling for sure, yes. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/24.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rofl" border="0" alt="24.gif" />
Indeed I'm hoping some of our Maya-wizards can help a bit. It'd be great if we could get that dinner scene to work.

Now THAT'S what I call really light eating!<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Is anybody looking into this? I wonder if we could get them closer to the ground by moving the sit locators further away from the table.
Not <i>too</i> far though, or they'll end up sitting <i>through</i> the chairs. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" />

I've been experimenting with the locators a bit, but it seems that EVERY horizontal surface in that location has a patch.
And all characters end up on that patch, whether you want that or not. Is it possible to remove part of the patch with Maya or at least put it at ground level?
This location could add some nice atmosphere to the game, but not if everybody goes floating. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wacko.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="wacko.gif" />

Here's some more interesting files that Thomas the Terror found:
http://www.filefront.com/15371235/Russian-assorted-locations-and-textures.rar/

In the package, there is also a Program folder containing some quests made by the russians. I do not have an cyrrilic font on my pc so I can't read/translate the INI files for it, so I have no idea what the quests are about.

Try uploading the document to google translate, worked decently with the one in help files...

CRAP! Send a PM to Thomas the Terror then. He probably still has the file somewhere.
I do too, but can't upload it any time soon. :facepalm

For now, I installed 2 tavern models and 1 warehouse model from the file uploaded by Thomas. I made a simple col. file with TOOL for each location (not still perfect but someone else can improve this... later). I use the warehouse model for the Santiago warehouse attack, of course. And seeing the tavern architecture is really Spanish, I use the large tavern as the Havana one (By the way, the biggest tavern in-game !!) and the medium tavern as the Santiago one. I made three small changes for the locators in the Jack Sparrow Main Quest seeing it uses both taverns (and one change about the warehouse for the Bartolomeu Main Quest). I will upload the file over the next days.

btw : - it was a real painful work because I've had to recalculate almost all the coordinates of the locators...

Thanks Bartolomeu, it saves me having to go and change the locators in Jack Sparrow ;)

I will be on the look out for your files ;)
