Need Help Screen turns Black on start

Hello Mates,

today I wanted to try out Age of Pirates 2 for the first time.
I am Running Win 7 so very early I figured out there was a problem with the TAGES Driver but that is fixed now.
So I thought now it would be running properly. Nope...
When I start the game I see the Storm Engine thingens that is initializing the game and then my screen turns black. And it stays black. But I can hear the sounds. Also I noticed that my monitor is swtiching through analog and digitial outpout. Just like as if all of a sudden there is no more output signal and it's searching for some.
When I alt-tab to the desktop everything is just as it should be.
So guys, what's the problem? And more important: how to solve it?
 
Nope, it still turns black. And with black I mean like the monitor is switching off. And then trying to find a signal...switching between analog and digital. While there is the sound of the ads and intros in the background.
