ask kazeite, you need to import it in the tool, and then uhm.. ask him <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />, i am of no further use if it is about modelling.

I've finished texturing <b>Sisko</b>'s cannon <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

One thing I've noticed is that your models are not optimized very well, <b>Sisko</b>. I was able to remove ~100 vertexes without any noticeable loss of quality.

I have it seen =) the "Mainboard" have only a Side the is an nice trick.
But something goes wrong with the normals.
All normals are soften and i can't manipulate the normals. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />

i work currently at the uv_layout of the ship. It' s

not that i have any experience with this, but i think that the poly count for that bit above the 'scrolls' could be a lot lower. they're above the stern piece. but it would be best to listen to the experts first.

wish i could something like that, unfortunetaly have no time nor expirience to do such a job, most of all expirience

Beautiful ship. I don't think that you need a skinner's help. You are doing an absolutely amazing job, on that. Might I ask where you found the textures that you are using, or did you make them?

Hi Grumblepunk,

From wooden texture i have a base sample.
I rifine them, add details (light & shadow, nails, dirt, color) and at last i will burn the shading in the texturefile.
