Unconfirmed Bug Tavern-Hired Land Crewmember Not Equipped

Ok, it works.
I went to the ship and ordered some crewmen to escort me ashore.

With 4 men only 3 were armed.
With 3 men only 2 were armed
etc
etc

If I start JackSparrow or Assasin and do the same I don't get this bug.

My game version is with the installer from 8 mars + wip from 8 mars.

I still havn't got any clue of how to get crew on land.
 
With a new game BBF no bug either.
So do we have different game versions?
or
have you been up to something in that tavern?
 
Ok, I think the bug should be renamed Crew Unarmed in BFF because I am also getting when I go to the ship to get crew. My version is the latest off Pieter's link.

Also, to be clear this bug did not exist prior to the latest WIP. Prior to that all of this crew on land and their arms worked fine. So something happened in this most recent version. Perhaps pulling the code that deals with this from the previous version and comparing it to this will lent some insight.

The strangest thing here is that NO code related to this has been touched. Not that I can think of anyway.
 
Well the weirdness continues. The last I did this the guy who showed up unarmed armed himself after the next location reload. :shrug
 
Please Jason, is there a way to order more crewmen while on land?
Either from already current ones or from any other situation.

Yes there is.

Go to the tavern. Talk to the people seated in the tavern. You will usually find 1 to 3 who will say "the navy won't have me, do you have a place for me." Your dialogue choices are :

"Why not follow me around town."

"Report to the QM.."

"Not today mate."

I think this only works if you have asked to join you ashore on your ship.
 
As I noted earlier,

1. The problem occurred both with officers I hired in the the tavern and the second time I brought one from the ship.

2. In my game it appears to have resolved itself.
 
I have now tested both Assasin and BBF.
Brought some crew from the ship and added more at the tavern.
Back to the ship etc etc
All works fine, also with officers involved. I can't repeat the bug. :shrug
 
Changing to "Unconfirmed bug" then if we can't replicate it anymore. :facepalm
