The build 11 and BUGS .....

I can be harsh at times and not realise it. It's the Sergeant in me. It comes out at times. I have come up with a solution however amd that is to make a Bugs only thread.
 
I did have trouble with the saved game thing but didn't realize that it's not suppose to work that way. When the buttons didn't work and the icons disapeared I hit F2 to go to the char options menu thing then hit escape and it brought me back to the game. However is it suppose to go back to the game every time you do something in the char section? Doing alot of F2 hitting. The other question I have is NK said you have to get clothes with armor from a tailor in order to wear it. Do you mean for the graphics to show or to equip it at all?
 
I'm not entirely sure there are any unarmed people when you attack the fort at greenford, i think pretty much everyone is out to get me then.

To equip it at all. To explain it technically: When selecting a model, i.e changing clothes, it's automatically checked if an item with the same name as the model exist. If it does it is automatically given to your character and also automatically equipped. The item is unsellable and will be removed when you change clothings again.

1. Had this once, today, I maked a defrag of the old 20 gig disc, and then no problem.

2. have not seen this.

3. I could only sail to a harbour, NOT bording and NOT fire cannons.
btw. full sails where up before I got shot to pices by a french battleship.
 
i'll second the second one of Sampow's list i've noticed i spend 2 days looking what ships are for sale.
 
Save bug in tailor is being worked on.
Ditto the `shipyard-takes`-time thing.

Re: save games sticking. This may be because PGMUS is set to 1, even though you don't have the PG music pack?

Hear, hear! I appreciate ye, too, Muddymonkey. I'd rather be in the company of moderators that have the stones to actually enforce the guidelines and rules of a forum, rather than let the members run amok. xD:

Has someone managed to finish the Animists side quest yet? In the mission where I have to escort a ship from Oxbay to Isla Muelle, the game freezes every time I go to Oxbay island. Reproducable on my current save game.

The save can be found here if someone wants to take a look at it.
 
I already posted a message about this, but since this seems the official bug thread, here`s mine (repeatable): after hiring a 2nd officer, CTD each time the game switches from the 3d window to a 2d one. More than this, second officer replace the first and I don`t have 2 officers.

Note that this is the Redmond priest/Animists quest, not Artois Voysey quest which I've heard to be working by turning on the debug. Debug didn't help, but I didn't add those 4 switches as they sound like they don't matter.
