Are the hats on the Man3 and Man3_1 models similar to the "tarred hats", you guys are talking about? I haven't got a picture, but those are the kind of hats that look like "Zorro" hats.

Something new here, concerning Jack, I think this one is better than the other Young/ Officer Jacks, so here it is Jack 2.0 (I also have altered the depp skin, resembles Jack again better, it is a mix between Kodo Boon's depp face, a russian depp face and what I have made a time ago)

I thought that Will also could use some new face, because the former was just a stock texture of man5_1. So I used a picture of mister bloom. And this is the result.

Included are will, will1, will2 and will3
Note it overwrites the stocktexture!
 
The texture work you've done is really good, but the mesh for that model is so unfortunate... <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ko.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":ko" border="0" alt="ko.gif" />

I think I tried using it once as the main character, but it looks so dorky I quickly switched to another.

I say your texture deserves a better model; if we were to try to make a new Will Turner model what models and parts of models do you think would be good? I'm still keen on the pirate 10 mesh that I used for Mad Jack, but which head might might make a good head for Will Turner? At this point I think I can replace just about any head on a POTC model with any other head, but what do you think would make a good combination? The only mesh that I'd rather avoid trying to change is the Corsair body, repeated attempts to successfully import that mesh have lead to nothing but tears. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ib012.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cry" border="0" alt="ib012.gif" />

I'm still working on a mesh, and I had another project lined up in my head, so there's no rush on this...

Uhm I think he needs nem boots (like the pirat10 ones) the head is fine I think, but we need a Will with a pony tail and grizzly stockings as in the beginning of the film. The head and the body itself are fine I think, only the hair and boots really suck <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />

Beckett texture is now in my map on the ftp, if you don't have alpha 7 or above you need to dowload the Beckett.zip. After that you can overwrite the texture with the new one.
I have also reskinned the AOP decks for a second time and I uploaded my Spanish Naval officers (a few pages back)

Not to be critical, but the hat on the Young Jack model looks a little low, and generally I've found it difficult to make precise adjustments to heads and hats using just the sliders. I tend to use the slider to get the mesh as close to where I want it as I can, but then I'll use the number column for the "Y" line to make smaller adjustments, just change the number up or down behind the decimal point and hit the "move to position" button, until I get the hat where I want it. Let me know if that makes sense or not... <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />
 
Interesting. I think Thomas said he put the hat so low because of Jack's hair or bandana or something though. But I might recall incorrectly. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" />
 
It was low, but the ones I have released, the tricorner is higher now. I saw that now <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> But thank you for pointing out.
