hey, this was the place where i posted my third post. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> good thing you brought it back up. we where wandering off to this subject in another thread.

i think my logbook tells of one of the finest moments of AI sillyness. i won a battle against a fleut, sloop, and gaff-rigged chebec when in a sloop, without fireing a shot, because they all surrendered for no reason at all. except the chebec. that one just plainly ignored me.

But I tell ya something what I did not mention in the other thread - The frigate almost always missed me with hitting me with cannonballs! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />
 
have you ever used the chebec BR? it is STUNNING. not the prettiest ship around, but the manuevrability of the thing is amazing! that thing can turn on the spot! (yes, i insist on calling it a chebec instead of a xebec, because the game's spelling is in fact incorrect, i checked)

speaking of senseless things, i don't know if you remember it, but when i first captured that sloop (recorded in the logbook) one of my cannons randomly exploded. i have no idea why that happened. just went BOOM out of nowhere.

okay, i think i feel better now. dunno what that wierd psycho-mood mentioned in the other topic was.
 
One time I was engaging a French ship,
The H.P. of my ship was low,
then the voice said "Abanden ship:
folowed by "Borders away"
{I think} and i was on the French ship.
Which I capter and I had The Lifeboat
insted of the ship I staeted whith.
It only hapend the once.
 
that's odd. i had that happen to me when boarding a sloop with a gunboat, but that worked fine. i think because i took the sloop afterwards. my gunboat didn't have any hp left after i had won the boarding though. i think i would have instantly ended up in the lifeboat too if i had kept the gunboat.

have you ever shot off a flagpole? i did. was pretty funny actually. i only noticed the flagpole had dissapeared off the fleut's stern after i captured it.
