What to do after final quest?

I'm working on a random quest generator something like that, with my Sneaky Trader mod. He can send you on a treasure hunt with a map you buy (it's in four pieces), and there are other things that can happen to you if you buy certain items... Some items will be useful if you get put in jail, or if you want to break into a house... Items that are not usually "legal" to be sold anywhere are the kinds of things he'll have for you.

It's a BIG job... And I've barely started to work on those things. But I think it will be a fun one, once I get it going. He's a pretty funny guy with lots of great silly dialog... <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />

How do you plan out such a big project ? I take it you go by the old method of pen & pencil ?

Well, no, this project came about as a simple desire to have something to protect me from the exploding chests - an item like a crowbar or a lockpick, and evolved from there, mainly from posting my ideas and working on development.

First came the items ideas and then the character, and after thinking about it some it came to me that the treasure map idea could get into more than just one quest...

Then the other items started looking like quest generators, and the idea took off.

I have the character and the items, and the locations and the basic situation all written up. I could probably drop him into the Beta for B13 as he is, and continue working on him for quest generation development as time goes by.

My concept with my sneaky trader is this - he's a real "handsome Harry" kind of guy, that all the women LOVE but all the men HATE. He eventually gets a bit more beat up - every time you see him, he looks more decrepit... Loses an eye, &tc... BUT then you see him somewhere else, and he looks fine. "Didn't I meet you on Isla Muelle?" "Oh, you must have met my cousin! I've got better deals!" So you never really know who you're going to run into...

My final stop at the "beat up" sneaky trader is the bum with the shredded coat. He's actually the same model body, but not the head (old guy with hat).

This should be a fun project when I can devote some time to it. Actually waiting for the new trading system to be put in place for B13. THEN I can test it and play with it and make him do the things I want him to do...

If you fire it up ever I can help with switching heads too, to avoid the sometimes "hole" that can appear on head-switching. Been doing a bit of this with other models (like Fanielle).
