White sails on ships

the seconds pic shows verry white white sailes <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/pirate2.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p:" border="0" alt="pirate2.gif" />P:p what nation is that :p
 
Those are the Age of Pirates white sails. At the moment, the sail colour is not nation-specific, but it depends on the BuildSettings.h setting.

I missing the pictures of the other AoP sails so I make pictures of all of them.

The first two sails are the stock sails

The other four sails are from Sebs great AoP Stuff pack.

i really like the verry white white sails because there nice and white ... okay i'm getting stuck in my own words but you now laddy's i want those sails ingames ! THATS AN ORDER :p

I have been trying to get the sails randomized, but I have, so far, not managed to make anything that works properly. The best thing I managed to do is that all ships have random sail types, but when you'd reload the 3D scene, the sails were randomized differently, so the same ships had different sails every time. Waaaay weird. Even worse than that was the effect that two different sail types were used on the same ship at once. See attached.

I tried fixing this problem by adding an attribute to the <i>shref</i>, but that didn't work at all. I might be able to do it by setting the attribute to the <i>char</i>, but I don't want to, because then the default sails for the player will remain the same no matter what ship he uses. I want the sails to be different if the player gets another ship.

In short: I seem to be unable to get this randomization to work. Any help would be welcome.
 
Flags work completely differently, but Pirate_KK has been working on a different flags mod and for all I know, he's almost done with it.

Uuuh, just my fault.
One of the pure white sails without the middle stripe is named as "sail_whole_white_plain.tga.tx"

The second one is only variation of Sebs national sails I worked with it for myself because I think they look more realistic with the holding strings (I don't know the right naval term for those strings <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" /> ). I only remove the national emblem so I get a pure white sail with holding strings.
Offically it's not in the AoP Stuff pack.

During a moment i wondered if i didn't forgot some sails, because i've removed the holding strings on some sails because i didn't fit with the foc sails on the ships and i let it on the sails that weren't used as focs
 
Has anyone had a look at my white sails mod in the latest modpack yet? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />
 
Yep installed it <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> but i don't know if i can really see it as it is... because i've already tweaked my game another way replacing textures manually ^^', but what i saw of it seemed me nice work, very simple of utilisation and well integrated in the game ^^

It's a pity that there can't be all of the sails in the game at the same time and that all NPC ships uses the same kind of sails.
