Confirmed Bug [WIP] Boarding Crew not in scene

Had the same problem. Boarded a pirate merchantship tier 5 and a french pinnacle of war tier 3.

Both had empty deck with no officers or crew at all. I couldnt leave nor finish capturing the ship.

Very frustrating, as a sea battle lasts long just to load the old save file again for nothing.

With or without defense skill, ships have way too high HPs. Takes forever to destroy and its way too exaggerated. You should change cannonballs so they do more dmg and kill faster

By the way....Post-End game is very boring. You should add a battle scene or island in which only Tier 1 boss ships and man o' wars with maxed skills spawn often. Otherwise there is no attraction anymore...

tested with 4.1 + zip update

You can still try to capture all towns in the Caribbean.
Or play another storyline.

any error logs or compile logs so we can see which ships?
This is another kind of bug as the one originally reported and you are the first one reporting this ...

Things to do after completing "Tales of a Sea Hawk":
  • Any side quests you haven't already done. In particular, "Elizabeth Shaw's Disappearance". See if you can sink the Flying Dutchman.
  • Attack some forts. Martinique is easy. Guadeloupe isn't. Port au Prince really isn't.
  • Attack Cartagena. Technically this is part of the line above, but Cartagena's fort is particularly tough. If you've captured or looted Cartagena, then you may reasonably conclude that there's nothing left to do.
And then it is indeed time to finish with this storyline and try something else.
