    Whom to visit in town in what order ...

    My order of visiting towns is as follows. Bar Merchant Shipwright I never visit governors as I play a strict pirate and attack everybody.So getting into towns to visit some of these places is needless to say difficult at times.I have to rely on pirate towns for the most part to get what I need.

    Dont know if you've seen the new smoke mod that is out yet.It is a must get for SH3.Here is a screenshot of the smoke mod in effect.Gives the smoke a real nice thick black oily look to it that you see in real pics of WW2 ships hit by torpedos.The still image does not do the mod justice...

    I don't want Age of Pirates...here is why:

    I dont think I'll buy Age of Pirates either.At least not right away.I'll be more on a wait and see basis. Just for me there is not enough of anything really "new" from what we already have in POTC to make it worth paying for a whole new game. I also am not a real big fan of Akellas products...

    A quick question.. What time period is this supposed to be...or is it completely fictional? Just wondering as the character in some of the screenshots looks like he belongs in the Old West instead of on a pirate ship.Just does not look right to me.

    Also are you sure they are actually missing and not duds.Another problem is high angle hits can glance off the curved underside of the ship and not detonate.Best is to try to get a 90 degree angle off bow shot on the target...then open your torpedo door,now if the weather is good and the seas...
