    Well, in general adding big mods will force you to restart the game. However, if you're lucky, you might get away with selling your ship and buying a new one (resetting ship data that way).

    Dude, quite honestly, if you can't manage the game on easiest difficulty use the cheats (look elsewhere in this board). Your 'improvements' are nothing but asking for cheats. It's intentionally that you can't keep a 4000 men crew going.

    Governor Missions.

    I'd call that sh*tty luck. Those are two of the easiest quests available, normally the jungle dudes are on or two 'sectors' away, always check the beaches complete, i.e. run to the water. I guess u need contrabands for the smugglers to wanna talk to you.

    Your shipclass is probably to high for your navigation skill (do a right click on navigation to see the limits). Get a lower level ship and / or a navigator as an officer.

    Get the trade licence and remove any bounty, change flag to english and it should work. Or land a shore and walk to the port.

    Well, I'm using the uncompressed version only and don't have any bugs that I can see. Only thing is, I simply CANT find purloined ships, no matter what, but I guess that's just my dumb luck...

    There is no link. Goto the PotC Forum, look for the FTP threat and take that address (use an ftp client programm, e.g. ftp commander). Then use Craiggo's description to find the file.

    The Purloined Ship of *some town*

    What sucks is *finding* the damn ship, I got three quests of that type in the log, and did the whole circle of the map without finding a single one of them... Also not a single portmaster ever saw a sign of one of the three.
