So I'm new here I'm translating it for my self all the text for my it ish vacation so in this week (is only my eyes can) i will be translating f**king text.

To translate from Russian on English it is very difficult, you to not understand our language, any foreigner cannot study up to the end Russian, it is impossible. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" /> <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bookish.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":mm" border="0" alt="bookish.gif" />

Yes it is very difficult I admit. But when you have about `2-3` PC dictionaries `5-6` book dictionaries you can do that. Yes it is very difficult and my language is very diffucult. I think that everyone who want to play this mod and know english must unite to one big translation team. Which must be very organized and they need to comunicate to each other to know what to do. That my opinion.

Any dictionary cannot learn our slang, and in general it would be necessary to be born in Russia what to understand Russian completely <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />

Re_Try, go to altavista.babelfish.com, that's were we translate <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bookish.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":mm" border="0" alt="bookish.gif" />

Yeah, it sometimes destroy the codes and files.... <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bookish.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":mm" border="0" alt="bookish.gif" />

That's indeed what is needed, just so far nobody's brought up the energy to organize that. But any contribution is welcome.
ussr, yes, I think we cannot learn your language sufficiently, but that's why we need your help in translating. If you could make a raw translation from russian, some `english-speaking`-person could take it up andd refine it.

Wow, that would be wonderful if you could help, ussr! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/onya.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="onya.gif" />

What's happened here, in several attempts, is that people start and then get bogged down in it or get busy with "real life" or something, and then we have to start all over again. I know I've been waaaay too busy to help coordinate an effort, something I wish I had more time for.

I think Alan Smithee has studied Russian, and I'll bet he'd agree with you about the difficulty of mastering it.

English is a pretty weird language too. It amazes me how many people, to whom English is NOT their native language, speak it or write it.

<b>CatalinaThePirate</b>I shall help with pleasure, at me weight of a free time but how you to help? Explain

The files that need to be translated are in the file to_eng.rar at <a href="ftp://ftp.piratesahoy.net/" target="_blank">ftp://ftp.piratesahoy.net/</a>
When you have something done, load it up again or send it to AlexusB, or send it to me, or post a message here in this thread and we'll find a way to get it to Alexus.

Oh, and Keith, would it be possible to have Cyrillic displayable her in the forum ? (or is it just my browser that can't do it?) I think it needs Unicode, they did it at Crossroads, Greydog and Hayreddin Barbossa know about it.)
If that was possible, we could have instructions on how to get started translating in russian, too. (Though people need to know *some* english to do that anyway).

See <a href="http://forum.piratesahoy.net/ftopic978.php" target="_blank">http://forum.piratesahoy.net/ftopic978.php</a>

Some people have trouble accessing the ftp when they're behind a proxy. If you pm me your emai I can send you the files.

I guess that means you have it. Good. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/onya.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="onya.gif" />

<b>Re_TrY</b>, it would be very nice when you have anything translated if you could also upload it here.
And if you all said what you're working on we could avoid anything being duplicated.
