You CAN Alt+Tab in-and-out of the game if you set full_screen = 0 in engine.ini.
The map is also ingame in F2>Map (Build 13) and F2>Inventory>Maps>Archipelago Map (Build 14 Alpha 9)

Where do you find more vulnerable and ripe prey? I seem to keep running into warships.
