I just got the test email back today to make sure it works. It should be going out today (Aug 25th) or tomorrow. If you signed up for the newsletter and don't see it by Saturday, let me know.

We've got a couple new screenshots on the side (different versions of stuff you've probably seen before, but they are new) and, most importantly, the info for signing up for the beta.

I love this. I am done with my paper and the newsletter is going out soon. I can feel the beta in my hands. Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many hours of stealing from the Spanish. This wait will probably go in four stages:
1. Waiting for Avast!
2. Signing up for the beta and then receiving a confirmation that you are in (most important part for anyone <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" /> ).
3. Waiting for the CD to arrive.

4. Waiting for the game to install... And then finding out that your CD Drive ate it up! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dev.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":d:" border="0" alt="dev.gif" />

As you can see, we still have to wait some time...

hmm, me thinks this forum (and allot of the forum members!) weren't around in 1970 so someone <i>adjusted</i> your join date. so it wasn't you who picked 01 Jan 1970? anyway, in the unix operating system world that date is called the epoch, which is when system <b>time begins</b>. if you care, you can goggle it (at $108/share)
