As long as it restarts again, it's fine. I do hope you people manage to continue without me. Peeps out from hiding place - In an effort to raise the morale of our "trembling lip" colleagues, (which includes me), at the prospect of the extended, shall we say, sabbatical, of our two esteemed modder friends this is what I've done so far:

Added latest Pirate_KK mods to the game.
Got the original Manilla Game done, the Devlin Opera and Jack Sparrow Stories started and underway. Made a preliminary start sequence for the Hornblower Quest (Player is Hornblower) to enable that to at least begin.

The game is running O.K. Each sub-game can be selected and the stories progress as expected. No CTD's to date. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

The are lots more aspects of the game to be tested, and there are still some known issues with "customisation" of the character etc. at the story selection stage, but if the player accepts the initial character set up as is for each respective story - the game plays well. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

That's great, Short Jack Gold! Any chance you might be able to upload your work soon? I'd very much like to have a look at it. I don't think you should do too much on the Beatrice Devlin quest for now, because Pirate_KK uses that for testing various things, so any <i>real</i> quest additions might interfere with that.

I would very much like to upload the full latest Pirate_KK game version with the latest Thomas the Terror, Bartolomeu o Portugues and Short Jack Gold modding stuff added before I leave in a month. That way at least you'll have all the latest stuff working together in the same pack. Sure it'd have bugs, but at least it should give you some good base to work from. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/doff.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":doff" border="0" alt="doff.gif" />

I love when a plan comes together, Pieter if you act like Hannibal Smith, is the modding team then the A-team? I want to be Face then, and I suggest that Morgan could be Howling Mad Murdock.... :p

I already voted for Morgan as Murdock. But let's continue with the thread's subject shall we, otherwise I am the thread screwer.

About my last work for the main quest, it will be finished over the next weeks but not soon. So, I'm not sure it could be included in the next update. But, you could put the last work that Thomas the Terror and Yo ho ho did for me : François l'Ollonais, Henry Morgan and his ship, Eugene Martin and so on.....
