A thousand faces for every head may be a wee bit too high, though. Really, what's wrong with integrating heads into the hull? You're going to make changes to actual hull anyway... And, in case you haven't noticed, every damn head is different! Are you really prepared to make custom version for every and each of them? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Although, this <b>is</b> a nice bit of modelling <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> Just one request - reskin inside of the "mouth" - I can see ugly stretching there. Just detach those map bits and put them in black parts of the map or smth...

And, again, how about a new thread, dedicated to this ship only, please?
 
well, i don't think that different faces would be neccesary. in fact, the same face every time might look rather nice.

The HMS Bounty was released after Build 14 Alpha 8.
It will be added to the next Alpha, I should think. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" />

Many people worked on the Dutchman we have in the game now, including Thomas, Razor, Cylon13 and me, if I recall correctly. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" />
Still, I won't mind replacing her with a more accurate version;
we've been having complaints about the accuracy of the Dutchman forever.
Even though the present model is far better than the previous ones we've had.
It'd be great if you could make a Davy Jones, a Will Turner and a normal version.
The normal version could then be used as regular Dutch ship. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

I say, just texture the stern, don't model those, too much work for too less effect.

If it wasn't the Dutchman, which is slimy, I would say, SHINY!
 
Please excuse me, there is a big chance of me being stupid right now..
But could those railings on the deck be textured that way instead of being modeled? And those guns are looking very neat and round, but does it not cost a lot of polys and lag ingame?

Anyway, its sure the finest ship I´ve seen in PotC yet ZarethPL! By the way, do you model as described in the PotBS tutorial? Because I´ve made a hull, but its not made that way. The sides, deck, stern are made like a hollow box with very thin sides, there is no polys inside. Do you think that´ll work?

tell me someone if the masts are the right size ,and should i add something like seaweed on ray's ??????
 
That is just unbelievable! What a nice model, do tell bonjourami about this though, he is also making an uncursed version.
