Gipsy Capitan...

This is my version of Rich Bartolomeu:
<img src="http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l68/Thomas_the_Terror/Bartolomeurich.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" />
Using the Keiron model (he has a fat neck I must say. Like he is storng like an ox.

Stron as ox? Whell, if he, while getting richer, also do some exercise while swinging with his sword (or even axe...) ...

BTW: nice skin, looks some little not like bartalomeu it self, but it might be it's evil twin ...
EDIT:
BTW2: Yeah, twins... he even has another demaged eye... One has left, another has right...

Very cool, Thomas, SuperDurnius adn Damski! Thanks very much for working on this! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/w00t.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":woot" border="0" alt="w00t.gif" />

Pirate_KK suggested that the interface pictures for Bartolomeu were not working, because they use picture files not defined in RESOURCE\INI\INTERFACES\pictures.ini. That should be easily fixed. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/doff.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":doff" border="0" alt="doff.gif" />

Hi,
Thomas's version looks good , looks more like an appearance more associated with wealth. As for his head we can try make it a bit bigger.

damski

First, Thanks Thomas the Terror ! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> (Wait also the merchant and the portraits emilio1 <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/shoot.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shoot:" border="0" alt="shoot.gif" /> )

I will use the skins like that :

GypsyCaptn_1 : Bartolomeu Quest.
GypsyCaptn_3 : Santiago Quest.

GypsyCaptn_2, GypsyCaptn_4 and GypsyCaptn_5 + TTT's skin : Bartolomeu Main Quest.

There isn't much difference between 1 and 2, is there? Except for the darker red colour on the model's front on 2. So if you'd use one of those two as main character, you wouldn't see any difference, because they're pretty much identical from behind. That might be a reason to use 1 for the Bartolomeu quest and 2 for the Santiago quest. In this case they're not used as main character, so you would notice the difference. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

GypsyCaptn_3 has a hat so it's really different from the GypsyCaptn_1 used in the bartolomeu quest. If I use GypsyCaptn_1 and GypsyCaptn_2 the difference is little.

just to add a thought to my previous message : I would like to start the main quest with Bartolomeu wearing a bandana. And not only have Bartolomeu wearing hats during the entire main quest..

Agreed as well. More fun to start with a bandana. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" />
The only problem I see is that you might as well use GypsyCaptn_1 in both the Bartolomeu quest and the beginning of the main quest and not use GypsyCaptn_2 at all, because he looks so similar. Would save download size, of course, but it'd still be unfortunate. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />

I still agree

BTW: Pieter, why you so bothering you relf about download size??? I know from my experience, that almost all good games/mods has not a large, but a HUGE instalation file size...

Because it hurts me to upload it and it hurts other people to download. Especially for people with a slow connection. But then it's a bit too late to try and keep the download size reasonable. It's going to be huge whatever we do. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />

Then just make setup partial... Lets say, one part takes 100MB... When you finish uploading part one eweryone can start download it, then you start upload part 2 and ect...

That's a possibility. I don't much like multi-part downloads though. But I suppose it would be better that way. A 1 GB single file download is a bit... much. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/piratesing.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shock" border="0" alt="piratesing.gif" />

Yes, but I think, that build mod is worth more than 1 GB size file <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

i'd split it into three parts in that case. that would result in three sections roughly the size of the excisting downloads.

Sounds fair enough. This is for the far distant future anyway. For now we don't yet have anything resembling a stable Build 14. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />
