Im not sure on how to install build 14

Sent you an email pieter, i cant get the error thing to work, i save the file n get access denied?. i run it all as im the adminstrator on this laptop:)

I got that from the patch 5. and thats all i get if i try and turn on error logging?

Did you install it into "program files"? That is a no no that causes security issues. Here is how mine is installed on my win7 64 system. It doesn't matter if it is the C: or D: drive, just as long as it is not in program files.
 
Very true; Windows security nonsense causes problems with the modpack in Program Files.
Try installing to, say, C:\Games\Pirates of the Caribbean instead.

This seems to be different then last time? i should i install build 13 full would that help build 14 to run?
 
When this game is installed in program files, Windows security systems kick in and cause it not to work. Access denied means windoze will not let any of those files be installed. PotC must be installed somewhere else. Try moving the whole PotC folder out of "program files" and into your C: drive. Drag n' drop or copy and paste work.
 
I moved the files like you said and it wouldnt load up the game, so i uninstalled it and reinstalled in my documents, ive put the main game there. buil 14 and the patch on, the game on its own fine so i perumsed its all good.
Added the patch n from the rename file not found all the way down etc, installtion complete etc. so i will test the game tomrrow and report back here :)!
