Oh... the Catacombs loading screen, you reckon you could make it in the new Build 14 style?

The screenshot was made a long time ago - I havn't started making pictures in the new style yet.
And there will be no release before :xmas anyway, I'm sorry.
 
There's no rush on the loading screens; I'm just mentioning in case you're doing any further ones.
It'd be really annoying to have to do them twice again. :facepalm

I made only 5 - 6 earlier. No the big work is to do the total number of loading screens.

What is done - what remains:
9 of 10 puzzles are done, 9 of 11 parts of the quest.
After that I have a very long bugfix/improvements list to deal with.
Then there is the 'englifying' of my language.
Moving over from 13beta5 to the current build version and fixes related to that.
And last the loading screens. :modding
 
Seconded once more. You're doing a great job and I would HATE to see your work get lost like so many other unreleased WIP mods I have seen in the past. Especially after you already spent several years work on it. :shock
The porting to the Build 14 Alpha code we're certainly willing to help with and the testing, fixing and dialog improving can be done after that.
 
I take daily back ups on an external hard disk - hope it's enough. :shrug

I think most of the "lost" mods are not because the files themselves are being lost.
They occur when the people working on them suddenly disappear.
There've been people in the past who had great mods in the works and apparently completed for a great extent.
And then they disappeared, never to be heard from again. :modding
 
If I get tired of this I'll promise to upload it. :eww
But the plan is still of course to add it to the game, YES! :yes

Last days I have managed to add this (wellknown) situation:
A door is locked (from the other side) with the key still in the lock. If you have som small item maybe you can push the key so it falls down on the floor. That's a good idea if you have pushed a paper under that door first. Pull back the paper and there you have the key.
Easy to describe but took some days to fix. :nk
 
Seriously, that quest of yours is going to be AWESOME!
SO many things that are just plain new!
Not just reused quest code from other quest joined in a new order,
but really new stuff that we haven't seen before. I love that. :woot
 
I'm getting problems when using the following weathers: Evening After Rain, Red Sky, Crimson Sky. Crashes very often to desktop!
Ok wathers are for ex Blue Sky, Day Storm, Black pearl Fight. Anyone else who have had these problems too? :modding
 
I'm not sure which weathers we've got defined in Beta 1 anymore; check the PROGRAM\Weather folder.
The first three you mention don't sound familiar to me...
 
Ok everything seems to be 'new' in the weather department - the 'problem' weathers do not exist:any more (?) so no problems with those!

I'll get a hell swapping to a modern POTC. :modding

I'm afraid I have been working for 4 years now on this same thing. :eek:
Doing the final :ixi right now and after that only one dialog scene remains.

It's very diificult to guess but maybe it can be something like 5 hours of gameplay (if you do everything right :d: ) .

Something happened to my garden while I was busy modding...
 
Four years worth of gardening to do? OUCH! :shock

From what I understand of what you've been doing, it WILL be worth it! :onya
