Now I feel really prepared to complete the CoAS and to buy that fantastic corvette.
The small details can only be found by playing though.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Good luck. Corvette does not need to buy, it must be get. It is really the best. Ideal for battle with the manovars, Askold quest.

1.Quest starts after talking with Attilla on Bermuda
2.Go to San Juan, go to Isabella house, speak with her husband, speak with her, go to store, go to church, go to her home.
3.Go to Cumana. In tavern you will find captain of her's brother ship. Speak with him. (I do not remember, maybe you need to talk to tavern owner first)
4.Back to San Juan, speak with them. Rest until night. Go to her house, kill those guys(you may use officers). LOOT HER BROTHER's body. You will need those notes in point 8. Speak with Salvatore. Run from town. (you do not need to kill soldiers in house).
5. Bermuda, speak with tavern owner about Attillla. He will tell you, that Attilla bought house in the city, its next to tavern. Speak with your friend.
6. Go to Isabella house and kill everyone inside(I am not sure if you need to do this point, but I made it)
7. After two months meet again with Attilla(you have date in your logbook)
8. Save game and go to Portobelo. That was difficult for me, because brig had different name that the one Attila told me.. Anyway finally I just entered sea near Portobelo and boarded brig.
9. Go to Portobelo town and in one of houses prepare for battle. There are two guys, take good position to fight one by one, otherwise the second guy will be attacking you from behind..
10. Go to Belize, enter one of the houses and speak with Isabella cousin. Exit house, Isabella will speak with you.
11. Go to Bermuda again, speak with Atilla.
12. Go to Belize, speak with Isabella cousin. Before continuing sell/place in your ships chest all not needed staff, quite good loot awaits:) Go outside the city, then turn left and turn left. Enter the cave. (It is a cave with a ledder.) Find guy and kill him. Speak with Isabella and kill Salvatore.
13. After a month go to San Juan(I was on time, but I do not know, maybe you can be late). Speak with Isabella, sleep until morning, save before church. When bad guys enter you will need to block way to Isabella, otherwise they will kill her. Try to fight one by one. After fight speak with Isabella and then speak with Governorn. At least! You can go to bed <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bow.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":bow" border="0" alt="bow.gif" />
14.(WARNING) Isabella will ask you to bring 20000plasters to home each month, I gave her 500000, so I hope I can forget about her for 2 years.. She will also ask you to stop being a pirate <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> I do not know if she checks it in anyway, cause I have just finished playing.. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/buds.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":drunk" border="0" alt="buds.gif" /><!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

1. drink in tavern, ask for tavern storys..

2. after few times, ull get a mesage, that it was in the port

3. go for it.....and ull get sunk, u lose everything and officers, so buy them tartans and give Trinkets to your offic. Leave tartans/luggers with offic in port control (ucan save only 3, i think...so plan this well)

4. After your "miracle" survival, u r on random island without money and ship, so go to neatest town and work, steal, etc to make some money and buy ship. go collect ur crew.

5. go to Amatice shore and way through jungle, past inca temple, to pearl coast settlement (i think u ll have to have spanish patent, or villagers will runaway), and talk with White Boy

6.go and collect 666 cursed pearls (have to ask governors of any nation to work for them, hopping ull get a mission to defend a town from skeletons)\

7. go to White Boy....

8.Go to tavern and drink until u get aright answer

9.go to sea, and try to capture it...U'll need a LARGE and STRONG ship and min 400-500 sea dogs soliders for it

I did not need Spanish trading license. I am using one ship. Just remember to change flag for Spanish before mooring. (I have about 70 stealth and 80 luck with bonuses from totems, but maybe it depends also on difficulty level).

Hey all, in the Tenochtitlan quest, I am having difficulty getting the totems from Tortuga and Port of Spain. Apparently, they are supposed to be bought from the street merchants? I keep checking them, leaving, sleeping, coming back days and months later, etc., and never find the totems on them. Do they have like an insanely rare chance of appearing? Thanks in advance.

Oh, and I suppose I could add to the walkthrough:

<b>Evil Spirits Quest</b> - Given by Priest (Random Side Quest)

The Priest of the local church will sometimes give your character a quest to clear the evil spirits from a nearby cave. To complete the quest, you need to enter the correct cave (check a map of the local area for all caves, or check <a href="http://www.akella.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12261" target="_blank">this thread</a> on Akella's forums for a map).
If you have entered the correct cave, your logbook should update when you spawn the skeletons by running into the glowing white light, and you won't be able to leave the cave (so bring plenty of potions and antidotes, stupid poison). Once you have slain all of the skeletons, your logbook should again update, and you can return to the priest for your reward.

A note on the caves: Sometimes it is difficult to find the correct cave. For instance, I received the quest in Santa Catalina, which has a cave just outside its' walls in the Jungle. However, the quest cave was actually a different cave, south of San Juan Del Norte beach, towards Porto Bello. This is why I recommend looking at a map of the specific city/island where you got the quest, to make sure you aren't missing any caves.

You can buy totems in any town. Three totems for the bridge can be found only.
---- Edited---
Install totems or put in a chest on the ship. Сhance to buy totems will increase.

Maybe little something to add to walktrough.

So i am currently in the coas questline.
First thing to mention and i found it very usefull was to bring around 300k with me to buy map of that damned place, since everyone who lands there for the first time will have hard time navigating around. You can buy map in store which is on esmeralda (i think). Next: right upon arrival you are asked to go to admiral as soon as possible. DO NOT do it, he will take all your items away. Therefore u should go to the ship Fernando Diffindur ( the one that is cracked in two and can be reached only by swiming). On the port side of the ship there is a crack and inside is the diffindur chest, which you got the key for. Store everything you can in chest all will be there when you return from admiral (only money will go missing). After you packed everything inside that chest its safe to go to admiral Chad.

In COAS there are many chests that can be opened with keys, you get simple key by doing the Dominic Legro quest, complex key can be found on Esmeralda during Life on Esmeralda quest, where you need to dispatch 3 thugs in store owners "house" (u and one other dude are robbing him). Another simple key can be obtained by completing the quest of Alice Taylor (would be nice if someone could tell me how to complete this one). But the best items can be found in chest of Layton Dexter. Once you get the quest you need to talk to Lea Toors, she will tell you that Chad and Layton had fight aboard the Tartus. To find Layton or at least what's left of him you need to swim to port side of tartus and you will find him and his chest which is locked. After asking around for rumors, citizens tell you that admiral is looking for key. Now you have two days to find that key. I read somewhere that this key should be randomly placed around COAS, however i found it on the bow of the Fury. Inside Laytons chest you can find (or at least i did) around 300k in cash, best light, medium and heavy weapons as well as poleaxe (120 dmg), baretta, dual and quater pistol, telescope, expensive armor, 3 types of skulls (each gives bonuses), a stone idol (i think your crew cant be diseased) and all kind of totems.

Thats all for now, im off to complete that quest line.

U can buy map cheap if u talk to one of the girls....She says tht she will make discaunt for u next day..

Update for Kill the beggars quest:
* The keymaster in Willemstad asks for an insane amount of your money - leave all but a couple thousand piaster at the moneylender's before speaking to him and his service will be A LOT cheaper.

It depends how much cash u own - he takes about 75% of what you have.
First I went there with about 1.2m and he wanted close to 1m for his service... then I went there with only 15k in my pockets and he demanded "only" 11k <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

Thanks, I'll give it a try with all the totems out of my inventory. According to the initItems file the Mixcoatl and Chalchiuhtlicue totems (Totem_4 and Totem_6) are only found in Port of Spain and Tortuga, is this correct or do they potentially appear on any merchant anywhere?

Just tested, he "politely" asks you to come back when you have some cash, lol.

1 piaster, then? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />
