Thanks, I'll give it a try with all the totems out of my inventory. According to the initItems file the Mixcoatl and Chalchiuhtlicue totems (Totem_4 and Totem_6) are only found in Port of Spain and Tortuga, is this correct or do they potentially appear on any merchant anywhere?

Totems can appear on any street merchant or store owner, anywhere.

Update for Evil Spirits Quest
* The logbook may not update if the last skeleton has been slain - I searched the rather large cave in Barbados for about one hour or so for all skeletons because the log did not update and I still thought I missed some of them; finally I gave up, went back to church and talked to the priest and the quest completed.

CoAS quest... map is handy, but still difficult to enter some ships...
How do I get to the Tartarus (the Jail ship, for the missing of Dexter quest, and the mission to get some whine the the jailkeeper)???

Nearest ship, the rigging.

2 ways.

1st, you can jump into the water in a lot of places where there isnt a railing, walk a plank, or exit into the water in places like the bow of Ceres. Swim to Tartarus and enter through a hole in the back left.

2nd way, which is much easier and I learned only after swimming there 20 times, you can exit the Esmeralda (Store Ship) from the front and walk up the pole that sticks out of the front of the ship and then down a connecting board.

Thank you all, I´d walked the rigging of the Esmeralda 2 or 3 times and seemed that I couldn´t go to the left connecting board, now I tried and I could... DOH! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" />
What a pathfinder I am.... <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":eek:ops" border="0" alt="blush.gif" />2

PD-Seems that the "oops2" Emoticon is unreachable because of the "oops" is taken before <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />o)... same as this : ( o )

Extension for the CoAS Quest
----------------------------------
Diffindur chest only storages items, money putted in will be lost...
Talking to Admiral Capper means loss of all the money and items (except quest items, like mummy powder and the keys of the chest of CoAS)

If you got to CoAS with money in your pockets (in my case it was 3 million piasters in my pocket from some long time of pillage) make a fast mission, like the Dominic Legro that can be achieved in 3-4 minutes and obtain a Simple Key, that opens some chests in CoAS (1 on Eva, 1 on Sta Florentina, 1 on Fleuron, 1 on Esmeralda full of candles and 2 on St.Agustin, at least that was what I spotted). I put all my money in one chest (I used the one on Eva, last deck with some water at the end that wet your shoes, at least not your pants), talked to the Admiral, lost items (only a spyglass that cannot be unequipped, still in my inventory the mummy powder and the SimpleKey) go back to the chest and... TADAAA... my money was there!!!! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/monkeydance.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":mi" border="0" alt="monkeydance.gif" /> <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/william.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":will" border="0" alt="william.gif" />

<b>BEST REGARDS</b>

....the search of the Drexter´s ring is real hard and eye-burning.... Where kind of places could it be?....
floor outside the ships or upper-decks?
inside the ships?
inside the Fernando Diffindur deck?

I´ve patrolled walking every inch of the ships, interior, exterior and even on the masts... every inch including the bows and the quarterdecks... I´ve looked in the 2 halfs of a ship at the sides of the St.Agustin (founding a simple key on the right side that only can be reached swimming)

Can also the "·$%& key can be found...

inside the 2 clan ships (S.Gabriel or Velasco) that they try to kill you when you enter them?
inside the chests all around the ships?????

If the people that has found the key could give some more info of where they find their key would be great in order to know some spots it might be...

<b>BEST REGARDS</b>

Could somebody tell me what exactly the rewards for the national quest lines are, so that I know which one to do when the time comes?

Thanks for the tip on removing Totems I had already found, I got the last two this morning, from street vendors on the islands they are supposed to be on according to the initItems file, oddly enough.

Hey for the kill the beggar quest I go to the key masters house but he never seems to be their... Do I have to go to his house at a certain time or is my game bugged <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sleep.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="-_-" border="0" alt="sleep.gif" />

This is my second game as Peter Blood because for some reason my first is not loading.

I have a problem, I just finished escaping barbados and I went to Trinidad because it was the closest port to me (in my first game I went to a different port). Now that I'm here though I don't have enough money I believe to store the frigate and the moneylender is unable to loan me money at the moment because he wants me to find a diamond in the jungle. I walked around the entire jungle and still can't find the diamond and I'm thinking of just selling the frigate so I can finally leave this island but I sorta don't want to. Any suggestions or ideas on what to do? Btw atm I have 7,000 or so gold. Thanks!

Yep thats it but now he won't accept it. I'm thinking I can just run some cargo to another store like I did in my first game to get money that way. I sorta got lucky my first game thats why I was made that this happened lol also I only changed ships once but I can't remember how to do it.

I bought a tartane and set Jeremey as captain real quick but I can't remember how I was able to switch from being captain of my Frigate to being captain of the Tartane.

Nevermind I have was able to just take my Frigate out for about two months and did some trade work bringing in money and then I put her into storage, got 10 grand left, and bought a tartane. Now I'm gonna do the governor missions. I was also able to figure out how to swap ships, I feel stupid now after seeing how obvious it was lol. Thanks for the help!

<b>Lost Ships City:</b>

When you enter the city, Mr. Stoker greets you and tells you all about the CoAS.
Afterwards, swim to the Fernando Diffindur. In the middle of the ship is a big crack where you will find a special chest.
Store your money and items in it and then sleep in the tavern till morning.
Go visit Admiral Chad Capper.
Explore the city, greet the inhabitants and then sleep till the next morning.
Talk to the tavern owner and ask about Teaser Dan. He will be excited to hear that he escaped and promises to gain information.
Wait some days and the tavern owner will have a new dialogue option.

Side quests:
Ask for rumours and you will learn that Maxim Taylor has been thrown into prison. Find "Alice Taylor" and offer her your help.
Find Maxim Taylor in the Tartarus and speak with him.
Have a chat with Admiral Capper about Maxim.
Go to the tavern and ask the barmaid about Taylor.
Find Dominic Legro and ask him about Taylor.
Then speak again with Capper and collect your reward from Alice Taylor.

Offer the priest some help and he will order you to collect 400 candles. The simple key can open the chest in the store which contains 400 candles. Take as many as you can wear and give them to the priest.
When he has all candles, you will be awarded with the ability to quick travel around the CoAS.

Dominic Legro will ask you to bring a bottle of wine to his friend, a warden (English Redcoat called Boyle) on the Tartarus.
Organize a bottle of wine and give it to Boyle. He will say something which you should report to Legro. Then you must visit Boyle again to clear things. Collect your reward from Legro.

To be continued. I have to check some things out before I continue.

Stickied this topic so it won't get lost in the background noise.

Keep the info coming folks. I'll start getting the PDF compiled before too long and that will wind up replacing this post eventually!

I´ve started hating the --$%@&$-- key..... <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":modding" border="0" alt="modding.gif" />
Could be possible to enlarge 400% the 3D model of the key???? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/jackhat.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":j2" border="0" alt="jackhat.gif" />
Better find cats than tiny keys... and in that times I think keys where bigger... like coke cans... <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/jackhat.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":j2" border="0" alt="jackhat.gif" />
