Secrets of Far Seas

Hi, is anyone else having problems with the main quest in Secrets of Far Seas?

The guy in jail says to speak to the tavernowner on jamaica but when you speak to the tavern owner in Santiago Vega you only get the four options ('what services do you offer?', 'do you know of any work?' etc). There is no option to speak to him about a map. I copied the tavernowner, shipyarder, and storeowner dialog from the English to the Russian folder as I was getting an error message as well ('can't find dialog shipyarder' etc) but this doesn't appear to be the problem because when I reinstalled it and left the Russian language I only got the same four options from the tavernowner in santiago vega (I think as I can't read russian but they led to the crew hire screen, room for the night etc). Does anyone know if there is someone else I should be speaking to about the map or do I need to get to level 8 again or something?

Mad-H, the dialogs of the william milds quest have to be translated, This week I will upload a second version of the translated files, including the raiders and rapers files.

and here's the answer from Korsar(Kopcap):"hm..... the main quest is not finished on this moment it is all...... in next version we will do contining to main quest....."

For anyone that is getting the 'can't open dialog file' message or something like that when they go to a shipyard, tavern or store, I managed to get mine working by copying the files: TavernOwner_dialog, Trader_dialog and Shipyarder_dialog from the 'English' folder in the 'dialogs' folder which is still there after you instal SOFS and pasting them into the 'russian' folder in 'dialogs'
 
actually I did the same to get them working, but

I copied the same files that were already there.

the game just gets cranky.

and taking A and copying it over A has made it work for me.
Or in my case, removing re-installing TTT's partial english translation mod.

ya did a superb job w/ the translation. it's only that the main quest doesn'start imediately after jail break.

So if ya know how to start the main quest (lvl8 or something) please tell me.

while making NO changes.

Okay, it works now, but thomas, how can i open the .c files to see cirillic letters? It looks like áéáéőpőpéáőpőű for me.

Hey guys,

I've installed the new russian add on and have installed Thomas' english translation and everything seems to be working fine except for one problem. I start off on the deck of a ship with my logbook saying the french have boarded my ship. My crew and I completely route the french and then that is it. I am left to walk my deck for eternity. Is there something I am missing, a key or something? Or am I doing something wrong? Are the french supposed to win? I'd appreciate any suggestions.
 
So am I not even supposed to start on the deck of the ship, or do I get transported to prison right after the fight with the french?
