three times and it gives me no end of
trouble. Them there Russians put a Trojan into
that file and my Machine is not very keen on it,
especialy my Virus progam!
Followed all sort of advise, like turning that Anty Virus
and Firewall of etc. but to no avail. So hence my post!!!!

This problem has been covered in detail.
 
here let me elaborate...lol..I waas asking if you are actively engaged in playing this game ..instead of the supermod ..the starfart removed 1.5 version etc.

I too enjoy POTC much more...as there is more content and thing in game to do . Also boarding and fighting is better in POTC .


I have a gazillion save files and AOP versions ..I have 250 gigs of HD and about 11 left free...lol

Hence my intrest on if its worth all the trouble to install the game and all its translations etc,

Or wait until a version comes out translated and one install.

In short I'm asking you is it worth the time and trouble or should I wait .

In your HUMBLE opinion ...well hmmmm watcha tink ???
 
better than supermod! rapers and raider encounters now work properly! MUCH more locations to roam! Very cool start, 2 new sidequests, 1 translated! 4 new ships, bermuda sloop, lugger VML and my cutter and dutch yacht1

Supermod is DIW
(Dead in Water)

SFS has 10,000% more going for it in the un-translated variant than the Supermod.

This improves with TTT's translations.

But cannot play AOP for at least another week - away from better machine.

Haven't checked, are TTT's translations compliant with the changes they made with their patch for SFS?

If you are still having the problem with 'access denied' and you are using AVG then you don't turn AVG off, you leave it on but go into the control centre and disable the 'AVG Resident Shield'.

Who understands everything on russian and english invite to take part.. Our translator left in a business trip therefore of translation it yet is not!

i've already spoke with the Tortuga tavernowner, right after i was "teleported" in front of Tortuga residence house, where there's no house to enter exceptin' the brothel. the only house i could get in(into Tortuga port) was the one next to the pier(on the right, near the 3 traders-like you said). BUT IT IS EMPTY!(i've tried in day light and at midnight)
I had no luck either in the entire jungle, pirates fort, or the houses closed to the mine entrance, Tortuga fort(surrounding Tortuga).
It seems to me that this character(W.Milds) does not even exists.

BUT, when i've played SoFS 201 (not w/ the 207 update like i do now), i've met William Milds in Isla Mona(not in Tortuga like it was supposed to be), being attacked by the pirates. And all this even without starting the quest(talking with Fernando Agasio on Isla Mona).
But at that time, Thomas The Terror didn't finished the translation so.... i couldn't understand what was happening.

so... ?
 
I have tried to download the mod during two days, but the russian web always is busy and say "try tomorrow".where I can download the mod?
