Now, the deck texture was addet and i built some anchors and other details.
Just got that ship ingame, too, gut i've to find a way to rescale it, 'cause it's bigger than Oxbay ^^

You use 3DS MAX, right? There is a scaling tool in 3DS MAX that allows you to scale her all the way down to her being a bathtub model. I would recommend not scaling her so far down though. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="icon_wink.gif" />
 
yap, i already work with this scale tool, but i think the problem is includet by converting it... i made it a length from 1 foot and it still was as big as before...

Do u know anybody who converted a ship from 3ds max to the game? Maybe he knows how to solute this problem....

it's still in progress, but at the moment, we're working at the textures and trying to learn how to get this ship ingame with all locators, walkfiles, etc.

p.s: i noticed there arent any guns at the bow, is that to be historically accurate or are you planning to add some but are choosing a place for them?

Well, i've been out of POTC Modding comunity for a while, hell! i've been away from every modding comunitty!(this includes Rome TW too...=(, unfortunetly real life, as well as nursingschool(not real, and not a life either...LOL) takes it's toll in a sailors life! lol

MAN!!! your Ship, is Awesome!!!!! Can't Wait to go out to sea, and pillage and smugle with this little Beauty!

The question is..what would i need to make my own custom ship too? what programs do you use? to make the model, do you use any kind of existing blueprint??? where wold i aquire such schematics?any protuguese/Portuguese pirate ships? Spanish would also Rock too! my iberian blood calls for some Iberian Action cuz lately all it is seen is english french stuff, and the modds developed reflect that...lol

YOu see, i'm fascinated with the medium and early age of sail ships, especially portuguese and spanish Ships(1492-1630/1640 the latest would be 1690, no XVIII and XIX century ships for me please lol) I loved your's although i would love to see ropes, riging and stuff, and the effect it has with the sails on, but, as i don't know anything about this i must be happyy with what is given to me...

Is it too much work for a single guy to do alone?
is it possible with the current engine to make big flags, both in the masts and the rear of the ship as we use to see in POTC, CI, and M&C?
is this kind of models you are working is compatible with AOP? it would rock if it did...at least, when i finished the ships i would have a comunity to show/share/use them...=) Man, one of my dreams was to see The Build and Post build being able to migrate to AOP, well, for what i've seen of KORSAIRS3, it might well be true...

There is something about your ship, don't take this badly, it's just a hint to make it a bit special than it already is...in the main deck...next to middle mast, there is that rotating device(don't know his name...) isn't it a litle offscale in comparisson to the rest of the ship? should it not be at the same scale as the steering whell? just cuz the ship looks a bit odd like that, it's such a beauty that it would rule with that a bit rescaled IMO... but you are the one doing it, so maybe i should not tell you that...lol

I wish i could someday do something like this.... Man, you r the reencarnation of the Father of the Shipwhritters!!!!
