Build 14 Beta 3.1 Full

I can't adjust or modify my sound and video settings.
Its funny that I only report this now as I want to mute my sounds as I am playing other tracts from my computer. seadogs2_0000.jpg seadogs2_0001.jpg :facepalm :modding

Must be a problem on your side cause I dont have it.
You removed your options file lately right? Could you maybe upload that? I might have an idea what the problem is.

Nope that isn't the problem either. I sugest reinstalling cause it seems to be a problem somewhere in your game.
I think its missing some textures...

Are you in wondowed mode? Try full screen mode.

Windowed mode messes up everything including the mouse for me.

Nah..its always in full screen. A lot of weirdness is happening when in windowed mode. As you say it. :facepalm

Windowed has always been working fine for me. Though, as Hylie found, those video sliders do not do anything in windowed mode.

I have re-installed my game to the latest and still experiencing the same problem as my first post.
Can I just have the assumed missing textures for those settings? :):flower

Do you have many different games going on?

I had that problem 6-8 months ago and now can not remember the fix.

Do you have many different games going on?
I have many games installed in my laptop. Mostly mini games.
But not that much. Only what my computer can handle. And still have more than 220GB of free space.
Check system.log; missing textures should show up in there.
I get only these ones:

system.log:

Well if those are stock game textures, then I might have a bad one. Does anyone know what and where those are and kindly....
...share it? Hehehe. :p
I really need those for my settings to work properly. :(

We miscommunicated. What I meant is do you have many profiles in your POTC install. If you do, humor me and move most out of the save folder and see what happens.

Nay, I did a fresh install up to the latest version. I've cleared the saves and the "option" file before I installed the MOD 'cause I usually test it first before proceeding.

EDIT: Well, it seems that even in my stock game that I have this problem. No .log files generated.

I just looked at both my beta 3.1 install and my stock POTC install they are all fine. It appears that your stock POTC install is gutted and you will need to dump it and start over. :ko

I presume you know where to go.

It can't be stock game missing files, because on the brown interface those should be mod-added textures.
Must be a completely different problem, though I have not the foggiest what it might be.
If you use the Left/Right arrow keys, does anything change? Those might still work.

I don't want to sound disagreeable but the missing textures are stock textures. Or they sure look like it to me. Here are my beta 3.1 blue and brown screenies and also a stock POTC screenie.

Could this be because of the music pack DaveyJack is using? I just use standard music.
