    If I may... I haven't used Tool but I have seen that problem before in other 3D software. The problem comes about because most polygons in a model (unless they are double sided) are only visible from one side. This can cause some "invisibility" issues when the wrong side of a polygon is facing...

    Okay well I did that and it changed my relations with the pirates from -119 to -60 again which is a good start if nothing else. Afterwards I went to another battle, hoisted the flag again and nabbed me a french merchant ship, but I don't know if that furthered my relations again because shortly...
