    I don't know if this helps but I have had this problem repeatedly and using the "reverse normals" in TOOL sometimes works. that's the weird part it doesn't always work, it seems to depend on using this option before converting back to gm. I mean no offense but Tool is a very tempermental...

    Thanks guys, I appreciate the help. I suppose I should take this opportunity to ask before I start, has anyone made the HMS Interceptor yet? I found out the sail and rigging layout for the Lady Washington, the ship used as the Interceptor for the film and will get started asap. Later.

    Yeah I got no problem with the waves I do however have what looks like a pixel ie a vertice coming through the front of the ship but its so small I don't really care.

    A little off topic but, with the mention of navigator and gunner I'm just wondering, what do any of your officers actually do for you? I've never noticed any help beyond the gunner re-equips me with ammo and powder sometimes.
