Any updates on the Poseidon?

Hear is the rigging for the Poseidon after 5 days of work. I'm a nub.

I think it looks pretty good Craiggo. I would get rid of the top staysails and the flying jib. It looks a little overdone is all and the top of the head points all attach a little too high. Just my opinion mate.

Awesome work Craiggo, rly nice rigging!!! I d like to ask tho if u could also upload new hull textures for poseidon (screenshot)?

Best ship ever, so heavy detailed, hope the game wont crush in battle scenes!!!

Nice rigging diagram, but it's up to you whether or not to put on full sail. Sometimes less is better from an aesthetic point of view. If you decide to keep all the sails, I think you should change the angles and attachment points. There should not be hanging rigging. It doesn't look right. It makes the sails look like they're floating. This picture illustrates in red lines the changes in mounting angles I think are appropriate and shows in the circles the hanging rigging that doesn't look right. Still a nice job though.

Nice! She looks much better indeed Craiggo.

I noticed when I've captured her in GOF that she's smaller than a lot of the other Man o War. But not by that much and she still doesn't look out of place though. Consider the other ship you show in the illustration. Used to be one of the stock AOP lineships, now we call it the USS Independence, I've always thought that she was a little too large in scale. When you put her next to the first rates, she's not as long as them, but as wide and tall as they are.

Poseidon is one of my favorite ships in game now. Thanks for all the hard work.

I'll need to make a couple of very minor adjustments to make it PotC-compatible, then she's pretty much done! Yes, done! :woot

... I still wish PotC had lit lanterns at night. That looks amazing! :(

Damn you guys are fast ha ha. Here is how I read the original sailplan. You might notice that on the original plan there is only main, top and mizzen masts so it can be confusing:
