No once the model has been converted there is really no way to fix it.if it was a problem with the models the game wont run.It could be a issue with you vid card and direct X.because they are shaders.And that would be why they are in you sys log.

Silverhawk just posted a log with the same kind of errors, and IncredibleHat reports getting the errors as well. This isn't an isolated instance. Would be nice to track it down.

If these bugs occur because of missing rope locators, we should be able to add the missing locators with Inez Dias' tool. However, we don't know what ropes cause the troubles. And I personally don't know how to use Inez's tool either. But these errors do occur also in my logs. I think it's safe to assume that everybody has these errors. But it doesn't make the game crash.

ok here is the last part..you can do these last part in any order.


First we will do ropes making ropes is like drawing a line you have a start and an end,it work like this ropee1------------------ropeb1 to add more ropes you just change the number ropee2---ropeb2. etc etc and you can add 1 locator to 1 file and another in a diffrent file like ropes going from mast to mast.and you just parent them to the main locator .if you miss 1 rope locator it will crash the game.

next step is ratlines or vants each ratline is made up of 3 locators.one for the top vant1u and 2 for the bottom vant1l and vant1r.the 2 bottom locators go onto the hull mesh while the top locator goes on to the mast.once you have all you vants placed you have to group them and you name it vants.and you parent them to the main locator..to add more vant just change the number to 2 or 3

last step and final step.adding flags, you add flags the same way you did the sails. make 4 locators name the f1 f2 f3 f4 place them where you want them.but in this order.

f2-------------f1 mast
----------------- mast
----------------- mast
f3-------------f4 mast


once done put them in a group called flag1 and parent it the the main locator.


ohh to give you proper tri sails rename your locators to sailt1 sailt2 and sailt3. and for gaff sails use sailf

Thats it your done!

I found problems of some be do of spelling mistake and now after many hours to fix ship work very good in game now! Where are files located for pictures of ships for shipyard?

PLEASE please lso can any one remind me how to activate make crew to appear to walking on deck of any ships in game when you on deck be able to see your crew walk around in standard game this does not work and i remember this is easy way to reactivate this and adjust how many crew can be seen on deck with you.
Please some one help me where file is locate to make adjustments?

For information about the walk files, see <a href="http://robotsdontbleed.com/wacko/wakka.php?wakka=UnderstandingAndMakingShipWalkFiles&v=6b6" target="_blank">here</a>. I have attached the required program to this post. The walk.c files are in PROGRAM\SEA_AI\walk. You need to #include them in PROGRAM\SEA_AI\shipWalk.c. I don't know how it all works though... <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />
 
I think the pictures for the shipyards and for when you are out at sea, are in:

Pirates of the Caribbean\RESOURCE\Textures\BATTLE_INTERFACE

They are stuff like ships_1.tga.tx, ships_2.tga.tx, and ships_16.tga.tx.

Each one has lots of pictures.
 
Then you probably also need to change RESOURCE\INI\INTERFACES\pictures.ini in addition to the interface texture file including the ship pictures.

Interface Pics can be handled in the ships_init.c file.

If your ship is basically a sloop, in the "ships_init.c" file you can just make sure you have the line:
refShip.All = "Sloop1";

That way all the interface Pics are taken care of automatically.

But if you do not use the sloop_walk.c file but another one, you will need to name that file in ships_init.c buy using the line:

refShip.Walk = "";
and including your walk file name inside the "".

One i name StingRay is of to be realistic statistical and only 32 pound cannons can be fire to make it 10 gun ship bow chaser cannon can fire fore and port and starboard and 3 cannon are on each broad side and 1 cannon in captain cabin shoot aft.

Other version i call SuperRay it has extra statistical for fun and all cannon fire as do be like StingRay and plus all swivels cannon fire to also to make it 26 gun ship.

As much trying nothing would work to be add walk file from other ships to be work with my ship.

Some people know how to add ships to game,some do not,I'd go ahead and load ship files to FTP an if anyone needs help adding to game,there are enuff mates around to help them out
