BERMUDA SLOOPS

Suggestion, how about classing it as a "Snow" which is basicly a slightly larger fast sloop that was highly favored by pirates. Your design reminds me alot of some pictures I've seen of them.
 
Unfortunately, no. Making ship models is pretty hard, but can be done. Getting them ingame, however, is something that, so far, only Inzane has managed to do. Inzane is trying to help getting this ship into the game. Not sure when it might be done, though. Any update, Captain_Augast or Inzane?
 
just waiting on Captain_Augast to post a update on his status before I give him the next step.It could be a while before we hear anything.

I some trouble with hypergragh showing all many polymesh hundreds of them so i could not see locators listed is there way to make see locators in hypergragh easier? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/poet.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hmm" border="0" alt="poet.gif" />

Great job!!!!!!!I have to review my notes and post the next step.since there is only one mast it will make it easyer.its funny how she can not move with out sails.So we will get her basic operations up and running masts and guns.it will be tricky.when thats done we will do the nonvital steps.rigging, ratlines, flags.

ok first thing ,you asked this before ,to move around in hypergraph you have to hold the alt key and you can use your mouse buttons to zoom and move..it helps if your mouse has a 3rd button.

today we are gonna do cannons. what you need is to make locators and place them where the opening of each gun is. the locators need to be named _1 _2 _3 etc. after you have that done next is to create groups for each side.so select all the gun locators on the right side and group them and name it cannonr.each side has to be done in the same way the names are cannonr, cannonl, cannonf, cannonb for the groups. once you have all the gun locators grouped nice and neat, you need to parent them to to the main locator1.first click cannonr than locator1 and hit parent.after that been done for all 4 side convert mesh and lets test her out in game.when ingame you may notice some weird firing. make note of the sides having the problem.go back to maya and turn those locators 180.save test again.repeat til all guns fire in the correct direction.post shot when done.

Since you have just a handful of guns this should go pretty quick.when I did my 74 it was hell <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />.but this also answers you question on you front cannon crashing the game when fired .basicly you had no guns to fire.<img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

The 74 gun SOL? I kinda like that ship. Just captured one the last time I played. I've used one before with another character but had to delete the saved games which weren't compatible with the newer mods.

What are the problems with framerates, and how do I test it?

You can't test it. Inzane made one a loooong time ago that looked brilliant, but had way too many faces or something of the sort, unfortunately.
