Even after the player gets the Black Pearl and completes the quest, could you still make the sails torn? And make the speed similar to the one from potc game? Thank you and goodluck!

The sails remain torn, unless you go to the pirate shipyard to change them.

Should be doable, but I want to keep the stats the same.

I could upload an optional file though.
The problem is that a new game will be needed for the speed to change.

Ah, I don't intent to start a new game because I have a beautifuL East Indiamen called the Amphitrite, a work of art she is:yes... I captured her under the Spanish Flag a good distance from the fort of Santo Dominigo, she was most likely Guardacosta. Once I captured her, I destroyed the remaining ships in the bay and sailed off with plunder from a Caraval:doff



Hope to see the mod soon!
 
It is in the game now, it needs a few things done to it but it is a step in the right direction.

Also because this is larger than the movie Black Pearl, it doesn't need to sit higher to look like it's not getting water inside.
Still I will raise it for it to be like in PotC.
Also I will need to duplicate a few cannon locators, and add lantern ones.

Edit: Plus the walk files need to be ported.

The ship is now raised, correct sailorpoints have been added, and lantern locators are there too.

I must thank you @Foo Mxcah.
The fact that you found the ship in GOF 1 really helped me, the sailorpoints file and lantern locators come from there, I have only raised them to match the ship.
When I tried to convert the walk file from PotC something went wrong and when using the new sailorpoints file the game crashed when loading to sea.

Now duplicate a few cannon locators, and it should be ready to upload. :dance

Also an announcement, I will be dropping the installer and going back to just a zip archive.
I've had enough of false positives by AVG. :modding
 
The Akella version has two on the back, and one in the middle.
The movie version hasn't changed yet.

I will add a lantern in the middle for the movie version in the next update.
I think that it is not needed as much in the Akella version due to the deck not being black.
But in the movie one it would diffidently help.

You might be able to report to them that your files aren't a problem.
Did that for the main PotC mod at some point too and it seems to have helped...

I did it once for the 1.6.0 version of the mod, yet it still said 1.7.0 was dangerous.
Plus sometimes widows 10 would whine about the file being rare. :rolleyes:

So in the end it added more possibilities for something to go wrong.

:shock What the? Really? :modding Crap, maybe that's why my last laptop took a crap because it's what I've been using even for this current one (McAfee Total Protection).

What would be a good antivirus and internet security these days?
