Build Mod Downloads

What happens when you try? It's running fine on my Windows Vista. You might want to turn off User Account Control in the Control Panel. If you can't find that option, just type it in your search box.

If you installed it correctly on XP, just copy the game folder to your Vista machine and tha should work as well. Another possibility: Install the mod to a folder OTHER THAN your game folder, then copy the extracted mod files on top of your game afterwards. I think Vista might have a problem with allowing the installer to overwrite anything.

Worth a try. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" />

I installed build 14 alpha 6 with the update and when I launch the game, I receive a runtime error <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" /> :
Runtime erorr!
Program: ...s\Bethesda Softworks\Pirates of the Caribbean\ENGINE.EXE
abnormal program termination.

Who knows what I can do??

How did you install? You sure you followed all the correct steps as explained <a href="http://forum.piratesahoy.net//index.php?showtopic=11643" target="_blank">here</a>?
Please <a href="http://forum.piratesahoy.net//index.php?showtopic=9234" target="_blank">enable error logging</a>, run the game, then show me the contents of the generated compile.log, system.log and possible error.log.

why: <u>build 13 final (312mo) < build 13 full (368mo) + update 3 (5,40mo in ZIP) </u> ?
<i>and you said "build 13 final = build 13 full + update 3"</i>
so is it normal that the full is bigger than the final ?

Build 13 Final was made with a different installer creation program that seems to have a better compression rate. It indeed is rather weird that it's smaller than Build 13 Full, but I checked and all the correct files ARE in there. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />

I just Found some thing in PROGRAM/INTERFACE thay is a Compressed Zip Folder named kam_shipberthing is that meant to be there?

Edit sorry did not put what build it was in Build 14 Alpha 6 And Build 14 Alpha 6 Update 2

You can safely remove that; I put that in by accident. It's not meant to be there. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/no.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":no" border="0" alt="no.gif" />

ok will do <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

I changed all download links from piratesahoy.com to piratesahoy.net; should work again now. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/doff.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":doff" border="0" alt="doff.gif" />

I updated the opening post with descriptions of the various Build 14 Alpha's and links to the appropriate installation instruction and information threads. Originally posted <a href="http://forum.piratesahoy.net//index.php?s=&showtopic=11887&view=findpost&p=257826" target="_blank">here</a>. I also added links to the ModDB mirrors for both Build 14 Alpha 8 WIP 2 versions.
