Major breakthrough with Akella

I have NO idea what can be done to generate a response, really. I tried many, many times to generate responses, but sometimes it seems people - just - won't - reply. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/piratesing.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shock" border="0" alt="piratesing.gif" />
 
What about posting it in The Burning Brig? There's always lots of people in the topics there (although most of them are guests), even though there's only a few regular posters. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />

I guess it would be stupid to ask them what copy protection they are using for CoAS? Or, maybe for manuals for the modding tools?

Problem:-
All impoted models are recognised as characters in TOOL.
TOOLS' error report when importing as Ship etc...... (System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object).

Q2. How to export in vrml2 format . In detail.
Q2a. How to set texture path in vrml2 export options(what should the texture path be).

Problem:-
We always have 'missing texture tga.' in the exported vrml

Q3. How to export in gm format . In detail..... i.e.
Q3.A How to export the model from Maya in GM format with all the correct data ?
Q3.B How to export the obj. files from GM viewer with all of the correct data ?

Problems :-
Nothing is exported....... only empty error report

What should the Maya preference settings be when creating a new scene for :-

a. Character.
b. Ship/Item/Location.

This would help us to contribute towards your projects and improve the current projects we have.

We have tried to export files from Maya, but the only thing I managed to do is to export the ship .mb file you provided us with to .gm, but it didn't include the locators. We never managed to export anything of our own.

How to import a .gm file back into Maya, then re-export to .gm?

One of our members made a Black Pearl ship model, but the exported file from our own TOOL has wrong lighting information and no correct collision data. However, a Russian modder on the seaward.ru forums has somehow managed to fix that. We would very much like to be able to fix our other new ships in a similar way.

Also we have heard that you're having trouble getting the City of Abandoned Ships game translated into English. We have some members in our modding community who might want to help you with that in return for a free copy of the game once it's finished. If you're interested in that, I will post on our forum and ask who would be willing to help.

From what we've seen and read, City of Abandoned Ships sounds like it will be a very good game and we're all anxious to play it

Its seems they haven´t a real priority to get this done for the western markets. Some day its just enough and all that waiting without information sucks! Maybe they haven´t got the guts to ask for help, there are so much russians albe to get allong in the "western world" only using english and the guys from akella shall not? Hard to believe!
