Fine by me; though everything I DON'T need to do with the Wiki is something I'm happy with. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
For now, I don't have much of a clue how it all works.

Alright... Done with downloads.

If don't know how wiki works, then post every change you want to make and I'll do it.

For now I would suggest:
- Remove all "Other Hosts" links, since those are dead anyway

What do you intend to use the "Instuktions" colum for?

I tryed to copy your description of aditional downloads... And tables looked awfully. I simply think there could be shortcut to forum post or something...
 
For Build 14 there is also JS fixes... However these will all be included in the next patch...

Attached is a walkthrough for the Jack Sparrow Quest. Please feel free use it and to change it as you want. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/poet.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hmm" border="0" alt="poet.gif" />

I have tried to keep the language simple and not to give away too many of the traps/dead ends. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/readon.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":mm" border="0" alt="readon.gif" />

There are some side bits that I have not yet played successfully and they are not included, I have noted these.

Could I ask that before using the walkthrough you check with Captain Maggee and Short Jack Gold to make sure that I have not written anything really stupid or misleading. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />

I have removed the attached walkthrough ( today 20/8/09 ) as there is now an updated version in the wiki.

I have just changed a couple of things in the storyline:

- Game opens in Tortuga port now, with you NOT being Jack Sparrow.
You end up talking to Mr. Gibbs in the tavern and then you get teleported to Cayman port and the original opening commences.

- You don't need to talk to Lt. Bligh anymore for Billy Brock to appear. If you do talk to him, Blundas disappears and Mings appears in the tavern.

When the questbook says (I'm on my own) it has finished the quests for you (except sidequests) just so you know.

And also when Mr. Gibbs talks to you on the shore before going to see Petros you have 2 options.
1. Have him come with you
2. Don't have him come with you

Help - I am playing no. 2 above and I think I should end up in a French prison on Guadeloupe (according to the questbook). But I can't get there. When I leave Mr Gibbs and Lt Willemoes with the ship and go alone to the Petros plantation all that happens is that instead of Petros in the building there is Francois de Vigny - a storekeeper with the standard storekeeper dialogue and purchase/sell screens. No one in the bedroom either.

I have also managed to enter Pointe a Pitre from the jungle and wander arround without being attacked or arrested. And had a look in the fort, but again nothing happened. - So - this may sound weird but how do I get put into prison? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

I was knocked out once in a random generated mugging, but all that happened was I ended up in the room in the tavern, having lost some money and items as usual.

You shouldn't take the prison route if you want to continue the quest, since it doesn't acually go anywhere. Not finished yet. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" />
 
Actually I have added a temp fix which IS included in patch 2 <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> that allows you to continue
 
Thanks for your help. Went to prison - escaped & and got back to quest main storyline sucessfully. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/me.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="me.gif" />

BTW the new capture scene at Lighthouse Bay is really good - especially at night.
 
I was wondering if perhaps we should force a nightly hour at that time. Sunset looks real nice. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />
