get the 1.5 patch from Playlogic
and the 1.5 no-DVD crack from Gameburnworld. (Who needs starfarce?)

Maybe consider alternate installs of the game.
(A trick learned on Silent Hunter 3)

I think it's brilliant and think you pointed me in that
direction! It takes out all this reinstalling heartache, when things go wrong!

We thought to do a patch, but a went out mini version <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bounce.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":b:" border="0" alt="bounce.gif" />

A list of changes and corrections of bugs is in the version of 0.1.0207:

1. Bug is corrected with the dialog of usurer;
2. The dialog of priest is corrected;
3. Bug is corrected with the dialog of people in jungles;
4. Bugs is corrected with teleports on Guadeloupe in houses;
5. Bug is corrected with impossibility of returning back in a city on Jamaica;
6. Beginnings of game are corrected;
7. A problem is removed with imposition of music;
8. Corrected quest «Search of disappearing load a cacao»;
9. Added kvest «Search of disappearing fiancee» (Undertakes on Martinique);
10. Reloads of pistols is added;
11. Skill is corrected "trainer";
12. A glitch is corrected with 372 man on Lugger at the beginning of game;
13. The cost of upgrades is revised on a shipyard. Now in this cost a price is included this, that on shipboard is already. And also skills of carpenter will help also;
14. Renting of officers for forts;
15. Correction of errors which could cause
falling of game;
16. Bug is corrected with death of Piter on Tortuge;
17. NPS is added on Guadeloupe;
18. Shallow insignificant fixes..

Help, I can't open tdm.exe after I download it, I keep getting the message 'Access Denied'. I've got version 1.5 installed and have quit AVG Free before I download. Has anyone else had the same problem?

PS, that william mild quest is the most things, I think I am 50% now, because all those william milds quest dialogs are really long, AND those england spain... are 8 dialogs as long as the william milds ones.
 
Just wanted to add my thanks for your efforts triple T.
Opening up this great mod for us english speakers <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

To download I had to turn off resident shield in AVG then
shut down all AVG processes then shut down the last
security warning that popped up when
the file finished (using task manager)
that I believe is the one that wont let you open the file
 
Question:

Will that work with AOP Supermod (have now all updates until update 5)? Or do we need the original installation + patch 1.5 (which is not compatible with Supermod)?

I enjoy Supermod a lot and it seems some features of Supermod are in Secrets of the Far Seas - but do they work together? Will they work together?

And : Will the translation be complete? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

Thanks weapon it works now, it was the AVG Resident Shield.

Nosie, I went into the AVG Virus vault and restored TDM.exe and then went into AVG Control Centre and turned Resident Shield Protection off. As soon as I'd done that the TDM.exe icon changed and I could install the add on.
