About Virtual Sailor models: I seem to be having trouble converting the .x files to anything useful: I get the geometry, but not the textures. DeepExploration shows the model allrigt, but I can't export because my evaluation time is expired. (Hope Santa brings me a license for XMas.)
Might not be easy to convert it to POTC anyway, because the model consists of many separate parts that would have to be `re-assembled` by hand.

Install JMV skinpack (only the resources, not the *.c files)
Unzip this file and overwrite:
JMV575 Mil Skins Code for Build 12.zip

In the FTP/`Upload-Download` Folder
 
Hmm. Sounds like that Hooters mod doesn't really fit into the time period, right?

To Inez Dias: It is possible to find a registration for Deep Exploration. Otherwise I might be able to convert the .x file to something that you can work with and send it to you...

To Nathan Kell: Which file should I download? The JMV - French Military Pack or JMV - Real Spanish Military Pack `1789-1815` or both? And does that overwrite anything or is it just additional?

I try to avoid warez sites (preferably). If you can convert a model to obj, to 3ds or to vrml I will try if I can get it into the game.
 
Pieter: Sorry 'bout the delay. What you want is named "JMV575 -- Britain, Spain, France Military Reskins -- `1793-1815`" with whatever extension it has (rar or zip, I forget).
Then you also need the Code Update for them that's on the FTP.
 
Either I'm completely insane, or I can't find the "JMV575 -- Britain, Spain, France Military Reskins -- `1793-1815`" file. Where should I search? It's not in the Pirates Ahoy! Mods section...

Ugh, the Hooters Mod was just goofy. But it was thorough, I'll give it that. Changed the tavern loading screens to Hooters scenes, and even changed the tavern signs. (They remained changed even when I uninstalled the mod.)

Far be it for me to question how someone spends his free time, but...

So, we're looking at even more new ships here?
 
I do think the Hooters mod is good work, AFAIK it was one of the first retexturing efforts.

And about how to spend one's free time: Well, Cat's signature applies to all of us, does it not ?
