Those monks are scattered all over the place. That particular one was on the cliff trail at Puerto Rico. I don't like that one because as often as not he is a thief who takes all your money and runs away.

Is that one of those "No-Save monks", then? But they shouldn't have the "Maltese Knight" effect applied to them???

They all start off the same, thanking you for saving all the souls at that location. But if you keep killing them they tend to get angry like this one or turn into thieves.

I have a few Screen shots that i am using as Desktops at the moment the first is from the deck of my captured Bellona class ship during a patrol for the Spanish navy

the second is from sadly a game that crashed a few minutes later but i do still have this shot so i am happy

thankyou i am trying to get on deck shots during a storm those should be good too hopefully i rely want to get a shot with another ship and lightning in it.

when i do that it just gives me an error and declares that the file is too large



but with some shrink wizardry it works so hopefully third times the charm

Ok, I managed to download your 1st screenie and it is a 1.73mb PNG. So I used windows Paint to "save as" a 408kb JPG. It looks ok to me.

Yeah all seems well btw; just incase you didn't know, press F9 to get rid of the interface, it should make your shot look a lot cleaner (unless you're trying to go for the 'game' feel) .

Docks of Port Royale on a dreary day

and this one was a pain in the neck to get pirate hunting on the coast of Puerto Rico (took more than a few trys haha)

At the moment my Heroic activity in the employ of the Spanish Crown has lead to Spain being at peace with England France Holland and Portugal so there is not a whole lot going on ... might retire from the service of the crown to become a merchant (and with just the wee teeny bit of smuggling heh)

Those are some good shots indeed! Have you discovered Free Camera Mode yet?

You could get a LoM from another country as well. Or see if there are any sidequests to be done.
Have you tried any Treasure Quests yet? Those can shake things up a bit.
